Four new faces...

The Reporter has been delinquent in introducing the first four of several new faces being seen around the barn these days. Olivia
Killian and her pony Diva have become fixtures in the weekend pony classes and we're so happy to have them both there! Ansley Bridges is pictured astride her horse Turbo, and Madison (Madi) Melscheimer appears here with her leased horse, Leo. Not to be left out is owner-in-waiting, Allison Causkey, sitting next to her pal Madison. We want to sent a big ESI welcome to all these girls and we look forward to lots of great times together with them in future. Thermal Final Report for Week 4...
With apologies to any riders that the Reporter has missed (the Thermal website is not easy to navigate!), we're pleased to announce that Vigo was Children's Jumper Champion (Ages 16-17) with Becky Pedersen on board. It's also a thrill to announce that Britt and Seduction were Reserve Champions in the Modified Junior Jumper division, and that Seduction was also Reserve Champion in Level 4 Jumpers! What a great start to the 2009 show season! We look forward to much more news from Thermal next week!

The San Juan Capistrano Equestrian Coalition...

"The San Juan Capistrano Equestrian Coalition is a non-profit 501 (c)(3), tax-exempt foundation established in 2003. Our goal is to preserve the equestrian lifestyle and our recreational trail system in keeping with the San Juan Capistrano city motto, “Preserving The Past to Enhance the Future.” Our members appreciate the old town feeling our city has to offer – the miles of multi-use trails and the beautiful open ridgelines. Whether you own a horse, or love hiking or biking on our wonderful trails, our goal is to conserve them for you and generations to come."
Our own John Berney has recently become a member of the Board of Directors of this important organization and is encouraging ESI riders and their families to support the SJCEC.
