Winter blankets and dogs off the grill...
Two reminders!
If you have not yet paid Kim Ornelas for you sheet and blanket cleaning, please do so immediately! A list of those who still owe for this service and the amount due can be found on the white board on the med room door. Checks to Kim can be placed in the Apple Box in Katie and John's office.
AND, tomorrow (Sunday, June 21) is the big Father's Day Hot Dog and Brat Feast on the Grass, starting around noon time. If you've signed up to bring food, please don't forget! If you haven't signed up to bring something and plan to attend, check the list on the med room door and see what we still need. It's going to be a great celebration to honor all our ESI dads!

Brandee turns 20 and the whole gang is here...
The whole ESI family turned out on Sunday to help Brandee celebrate her twentieth birthday! There was lots of pizza and beverages for starts, plus an incredible cake. Then... a uniformed gentleman crashed the party, asking Brandee lots of questions about the registration of her horse trailer, and at one point insinuating that he might just be towing it away. Off course, she'd been punked by her friends - the "cop" was actually there to deliver a singing birthday telegram! It was another successful Birthday Bash on the Grass at ESI. And why did Euan end up in handcuffs? (Beyond the obvious reason that he probably deserved it!) We'll leave that to your imaginations!
Any more pictures out there of Brandee's big day? Please email to Margaret and they will be posted!

Happy feet, happy horse...
The ESI Reporter is long overdue in recognizing a very important individual who contributes to the health and well-being of nearly all of our horses. Blacksmith Gary Rush has been shoeing horses for Katie and John for w-e-l-l over twenty years, and those of us who have been with the Berneys that long know just how lucky we are to have him!
Just a reminder to all our riders - please use the white board on the door to the med room to advise Gary that your horse is due for shoeing, and whenever possible, leave your shoeing checks in the Apple Box in John and Katie's office at the time shoeing is requested. The long show season is here. We must all work together to keep our horses' feet in tip-top shape for competition!

Father's Day Hot Dog and Brat Feast...
Father's Day is just a couple of weeks away! Let's show our dads just how much we appreciate them on Sunday, June 21, starting around noon, at this year's Hot Dog and Brat Feast on the Grass. Many of you have already signed up to bring food. (We've got the grill, charcoal and the meats covered!) We still need contributions of sodas and waters, and more picnic type side dishes would be great, too. Don't miss it!
