Storm photos...

Wilma sent along these photos taken on Tuesday at the barn. For those of you who have heeded John and Katie's request to stay away until conditions improve, these pictures should be all the proof you need that it's quite a mess there. The Reporter is relieved to report that the horse inside the stall under the fallen tree was unhurt.

Sycamore Show rescheduled...

This just in from OCHSA...

This weekends Orange Coast Cooler show has been tentatively rescheduled for the following weekend... Anyone taking any bets???

Special Request from John and Katie...

As most of you are already aware, conditions at Sycamore have gotten worse through the weeks storms. The large covered ring is flooded, leaving only the Fieldhouse ring available for riding. Because of this, Katie and John are asking that all riders stay home from the barn for the time being. They are getting the horses out. When they feel conditions are safer you will be notified. (Keep checking the blog, Facebook, etc.)
Thanks for your cooperation! Please all stay warm, dry and safe!

The Charge of the White Brigade...

Thanks to Jeff Mixer for the photo of the day!

Belated wishes and more January birthdays...

In these weeks that the editor of the ESI Reporter has been recovering, she has, sadly, let some important things go unreported - like birthdays!

Very belated wishes are sent out to Elena Pulford, whose birthday was on December 10!

And, it's not a moment too early to give a big birthday shout-out to Audra, who is celebrating today, January 10!

And later in the month...
Arielle - January 12
Jeff - January 14
Ansley - January 17
Katherine - January 21

Let's not forget to wish our friends well on their special days!

Crash One and Crash Two...

Most everyone around the barn knows that Christmas Eve was not such a good day for John and Mary... The Reporter is very pleased to report that they both seemed on the road to complete recovery on Sunday. We will all be very glad to see them back on horses very soon.
